Hi,

we have installed a new test-Portal with Connection to backend System. We already have an development System and a production System, now we have installed a third Portal.

Configuration seems to be okay, but we have a strange issue:

when using the link http://xxxxxx:50200/irj/portal i get the logon Screen, single sign on is NOT working. Also when i enter my user and Password it is NOT accepted, i fall back to logon Screen.

when using the link http:/xxxxxxxx:50200/ (WITHOUR ....irj/Portal) i get to SAP Netweaver Application Server Java starting page. when i then click on e.g. System Information i again get the logon Screen. When entering my user and Password THERE it is accepted.

When i add manually /irj/Portal to the link now i get into home of the Portal as it should be.

any ideas why this happens ?

Hi Team

I have DTP from DSO1->DSO2 via expert routine.For an order,Order status is defined in this expert routine.

For an order,order status filed in expert routine debug results is showing the status as "Hit" but when we exceute the DTP it's updating the DSO2  status as"Miss".Data is coming in Single Data Packet.

Steps Performed :

I have deleted the request from DSO2 and repeated the load but issue the exists the same.

I have created the New DTP and triggered the load but issue exists.

Please reply on this as soon as possible.Quick response can be highly appreciated.

I tried using PCDSearchControls API to achieve the same but the results returned by it were different from the results returned by standard Portal search.

Hi everyone,

since the last update of our portal to 7.31.3301.368423.20141212122425 we have on every input and textarea-field an background-image:

}

How can I remove the background-image? In the theme-editor I can change the background-color of input-fields, but not the image.

Someone an idea? We not have access to the filesystem. If we let change the css in the file-system, what happen at the next update?

I've an issue with our upgraded portal from 7.01 to 7.4. The Ajax-client is empty. That means that I don't see any navigation entries. In the standard old desktop all navigation entries are displayd correct. What can be the reason?

We are working on SAP Netweaver Portal 7.4 SP4 with Internet Explorer(IE) 9 version.

After navigating to few Portal Pages, when I try to navigate using the Browser "Back" Navigation button, it's not working.

We could see few empty Netweaver Portal Pages in between.

What is the cause for this issue and how to resolve this?

I am looking for some help/answer to the problem below in Portal Knowledge Management area.

The users of the portal use 'The Advanced Search Tool'. The users put in the search criteria and also specify the site (Web Page Composer sites) to search. Say search for the word 'steel'in some xyz site. This in turn return a few search results. On clicking each of the search result entries, some of the url links do not open up (perhaps do not exists) and now it has been found that they must reference to some other site (URL). I have been given with a set of URLs in .csv format that needs to be mapped to these search links that are erroneous and correct the same. I don't know enough about how to proceed to do this configuration/change. I hope someone can help me solve this problem. Let me also know, if you need some inputs.

Hi Experts,

Good day. We have an existing development configuration that contains 7 SCs. I need to add 2 new SCs from an archived .sca files so I tried to follow the procedure stated in the url below:

Creating New Software Components - Software Development - SAP Library

However the New->Software Component option is disabled. My DC is imported from our SLD and was not created locally from my workspace.

1. Did I miss anything here?

2. Does creating a new SC in NWDS (Development Infrastracture) only works for local Development Configuration?

3. What other options can I do to create new SCs from an archived .SCA?

After upgrading op SAP Portal 7.40 Sp9 we experience a problem when we click on MSS role.

When we click on MSS role it redirects to ESS main role

We have cleared navigation cache on server, cleared browser cache and restarted portal server.
Tested in both IE11 and Firefox, same scenario.

Any input to what causes this behavior and how we solve this issue?

I am facing a problem while accessing workbooks through SAP Transaction iview from Enterprise portal. Everything works fine in D and Q. After transporting to P portal, all workbooks shows attached error message. I have given port as 32xx, but in error message I can see that port has been taken as 33xx. Why the auto assignment of wrong port happens? Is it the reason for error?

I have chosen SAP GUI for windows for creating iview. Any difference if I take SAP GUI for HTML?

Let me know your views. I am struggling since the issue happened in P portal. Quick help would be appreciated.

I am new to EP (netweaver7.3 EHP1).I have  successfully  connected backend (ECC 6.0).Every connection(connector,ITS,Web as)working fine.

i have created a role(which contain T_CODE iviews  ) in portal content,and assign that role to Administrator and other user name(TEST2).

When i am accessing  that t-code iviews in user administrator it is working fine.

But when i am accessing same in user TEST, i am getting following error

let me tell you one thing when i am giving super user role then again it is working fine.

Even after adding the required Jarfiles the below shown errors are being observed.
