I have uploaded backed LSO HR Learning role onto portal by using upload role from the backend .
In the HR -SAP Learning Solution ->courses ->Dates ->and click on link create with resources .
The application is getting opened but it throws some popup errors as well as field errors .
Please find the attached screen shot .
We are using SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 .

I am configuring UCES and have encountered an issue. Under the Open Bills tab, when I try to view a pdf of the open item, it will not display. What could be the issue?
During move-in, whenever I enter the postal code and device #, the address that comes up on the next screen is correct except for the Country and Region. It autopopulates with Germany. When I hit the "previous page" tab and then proceed, the field for country and region repopulates with the correct data as it is seen in ECC.

our portal has the above written SPS but when I install the IE 11 on my PC I get only the information, that the iView don't supports my browser. So I haven't tho possibility to Log on or something else. What can be the reason?

is it possible to change the dialog where I can add a subscription for a KM document?
This dialog is a sub dialog of the KM properties dialog and can be accessed via (KM document) Details -> Settings -> Subscription.
Our Portal is 7.4.
I need to disable or remove the option to change the receiver as users should only
be able to add subscriptions for themselves and not for other receipients.

I enter a known good admin userid and password, but does not accept
We are on NW 7.3.0 on AIX 6.1. I have to go to the OS (with same user and password) and do stopsap;startsap

I am using Enterprise Portal in Netweaver 7.4.
When I login to EP in Korean, content administration menu's loading speed id too slow.
The loading time is more than 10 seconds.
Strangly when I login to EP in Englsh, content administration menu is loaded very fest.
So, I tried to login another language(Japanese), content administration menu is too slow.
Do you have any idea to solve this problem?

We need to migrate from CE7.3 EHP1 SPS9 Portal to CE7.4 Portal and would like to know your comments/suggestions/experiences on the same.
Following are our landscape layout: -
1. Consumer Portal (to be upgraded from CE7.3 EHP1 SPS9 to CE7.4)
2. Consumer Portal is connected to 10 producer portals (NW7.0) via RAI (remote app integration).
3. Consumer Portal is connected to SAP ECC R/3 backends (WD ABAP iViews, BSPs, ITSs, UWLs)
4. Consumer Portal is connected to CE servers hosting BPM applications (WD Java apps, UWL workitems)
Queries: -
1. What will be impact on connected producer portals?
2. What will be impact on SAP ECC R/3 integrated apps?
3. What will be impact on CE servers?
4. Would there be any Portal content migrated required?
5. We have done many configurations on NWA level for many applications and there are many backgroud jobs that are configured.
Would these need to be re-configured?
6. Would there be any need to migrate DCs that are present in track?
7. We have SPNEGO based kerberos SSO configured. Would this need to be re-configured?
All these that I can think of now.
Kindly share your comments and also, please bring out topics that I might have missed.

there is a problem in portal
for all the users in forms, The attachment option(paper clip icon) in the Adobe forms for employee process does not work . The attachment button which is enhanced in utilities does work
1)is there any option to configure it to work from portal
2)i wan to know what version is supported and what version is not supported(adobe form utilies) in portal and how these are configured in portal

after migrating from 7.02 to 7.40 we had the problem that, under IE 11, the detailed navigation iview didn't appear caused by an error in crossBrowserLib_nn6.js. However in IE 11 compatibility mode there was no problem.
After applying the appropriate patch mentioned in 2063926 the problem got even worse. Initially the detaioles navigation iview opened correct, but any subsequent click on any navigation item there, let the iview disappear again AND NOW this problem exists for IE11 AND IE8 and no matter whether in compatibility mode or not.
Anaylsis showed a javascript error in detailednavtree.js

I've been going through a lot of UCES documentations and found the below Help Link:
In the above SAP help link, it is recommended to configure the User Management Engine (UME) in such a way that the authentication is made against an SAP system, if using FI UserManagement.
But in our scenario, we have UCES installed on Portal server and Portal's UME is configured to use Web AS Java database instead of ABAP Data source as suggested above.
Could it be the reason that even after configuring FI UserManagement in XCM for UCES, the user authentication is not successful through SAP system (Authentication Failed appearing) and on the contrary they are authenticated through Portal UME (Web AS Java database) without an issue.
Is it mandatory to configure the UME of Java server (In our case Portal server where UCES is installed) with ABAP data source (SAP System where FI-CA is installed) so that users can be authenticated against SAP system instead of Portal UME.
Please provide your valuable inputs so that we can arrive at a conclusion and take a decision accordingly.

Dear all,
we have created a custom logon page in SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.0 (see SAP NW 7.0 - Customizing the Logon Screens) involving changes of the source code. As we would like to upgrade the portal to the latest version 7.3, I would like to know if the existing logon page will still work after the upgrade or if any changes need to be applied to make the page work again. Has the login mechanism changed significantly? The help pages of SAP NetWeaver 7.3 (see SAP NW 7.3 - Configuring the Logon Screen) do only describe simple customizations such as the change of the brand image but they do not refer to more extensive customizations including changes of the source code.
Has anyone made any experiences with this issue?
